IPTC, the global standards body for the news industry has recently announced the release of its latest update to their photo metadata mapping rules for Exif 3.0. The update includes guidelines for mapping individual properties between IPTC’s standards, Exif, and schema.org, along with additional notes for contributor, copyright, dates and IDs. Developers are encouraged to use the updated guide.
It’s been a year since the launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and we have seen the platform evolve from a popular, almost gimmicky source of entertainment to a tool that has been integrated – and often shoe-horned – into a vast number of technologies and applications. Sony joined the C2PA steering committee back in March 2022.
