Featured Job – Digital Asset Librarian, Under Armour – 15th October 2021


This week’s highlighted position is for a Digital Asset Librarian for American sports equipment manufacturer Under Armour.  Based out of Baltimore, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of implementing and managing an archive of the company’s images, videos and catalogues over the last 25 years.  Duties and disciplines will include workflow management, metadata and taxonomy, upload and ingestion, and licensing and rights management.  This is a technical role requiring knowledge of numerous aspects of the digital asset lifecycle and an awareness of the relevant trends and technologies.

Working under the Creative Director, Corporate Communications, this position will be responsible for building out an archival partition on Under Armour’s existing Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. The Digital Asset Librarian will integrate and manage this side of the DAM, and all workflows associated with it from metadata standards, system maintenance, training and outreach initiatives, to supporting internal awareness, understanding, and usage of UA’s digital archive assets.”  [Read More]
