About the Position

Key responsibilities in this position include developing and implementing all organization-wide digital strategies for social media channels that align with the organization’s marketing strategies and efforts. Includes capturing photography and video assets at events and other activities on campus that reflect our organization’s services, programs, and dynamic culture. Additionally, an online portfolio is required for submission during the application process.

  • Develops, manages, executes, and evaluates social media strategy for all social media channels aligned with CI goals. Utilizes strong, ear-to-the-ground reporting, conceptual, creative, and storytelling skills to convey the variety and caliber of our services and programs.
  • Develops reporting data and metrics related to social media efforts (e.g., engagement rates, followers, etc.) to ensure that strategies are informed and driven by both budget and data trends.
  • Tracks and analyzes social media reporting data and key metrics to inform strategies.
  • Leads content strategy and implementation across social media channels and collaborates with PR team, when appropriate.
  • Curates, produces, and archives CI’s photography and video content through planning, scripting, and high-quality production.
  • Works with the marketing team to create engaging and shareable social media content aligned with CI brand positioning, advertising campaigns, brand guidelines, and voice of the brand. This content will also be utilized for other marketing channels such as website, print, and digital communications.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and emerging platforms in marketing and communications, particularly those relating to social media and healthcare, education, and family/social services, and regularly makes recommendations for social media strategy implementation to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field is required.
  • Required minimum experience of 7-10 years in marketing and communications.
  • Demonstrated success and skills in digital media, social media, photography and videography, content creation, analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), data asset management (DAM), and/or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems and automation.
  • Candidate must be savvy with social media platforms, trends, and related scheduling and creative tools (i.e. Sprout Social, Canva).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Clearances Required: Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, and Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
