Primary Job Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the ongoing roles and responsibilities of each member of the Content + Brand team, and stay current as roles change over time
  • Build three integrated project workflows (app, social media, and brand) in Monday.com to track the progress of projects, streamline overall efficiency, monitor team bandwidth, and promote on-time delivery
  • Design an automated intake process and form to gather essential project information from stakeholders requesting work from the Content + Brand team
  • Manage projects end-to-end, from definition through delivery, including: receiving intake forms; creating project cards in Monday; reviewing individual team member bandwidth to inform project assignments; documenting essential context, scope, and direction for creatives; uploading or linking to files from stakeholders or the team’s DAM; estimating work hours and assigning deadlines to various phases of the workflow; creating automated dependencies; monitoring project progress to identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays; revising the scope or schedule or projects as necessary; confirming delivery; and archiving projects
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with the Content + Brand team as well as stakeholders org-wide through a commitment to clear and consistent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Schedule projects with an eye on bandwidth to prioritize work-life balance and avoid burnout while still achieving organizational and team goals
  • Generate reports on individual team member productivity, efficiency, and workload
  • Lead projects with a human-first approach of patience, empathy, and perspective, bringing a sense of groundedness and reassurance to high-pressure situations
Project Automation and Integration:

  • Prioritize automation in the building of team project workflows in Monday.com
  • Conduct an audit of the integration functionality of the Content + Brand team’s use of Slack, Contentful, Google Docs, Airtable, and Monday.com to identify all potential opportunities for integration to streamline workflows and maximize efficiency
  • Complete a cost-benefit analysis of the Content + Brand team’s current editorial process in Google Docs to that of a paid proofing platform within Monday.com with consideration for compliance and efficiency
  • Review and suggest integration and workflow improvements to Content + Brand team leaders quarterly
  • Support the Editorial Manager in integrations or technical aspects of the quarterly content audits
  • Develop and maintain an efficient (preferably automated) process for weekly upload or delivery of creative assets to the Editorial Manager for app publication and the Director of Social for social publication
Digital Asset Management:

  • Audit the Content + Brand team’s existing Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and suggest enhancements based on industry best practices to improve safeguarding, searchability, security, accessibility, and efficiency
  • Author and maintain a Content + Brand DAM Guide outlining naming conventions, taxonomy, metadata tagging, linking of assets between platforms, and best practices to protect the integrity of the DAM
  • Edit and update the DAM’s architecture as defined in the DAM Guide
  • Automate access to the DAM in project workflows
  • Serve as the Content + Brand team’s digital librarian, locating and sharing assets upon request both within the team and to org-wide stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose assets from the DAM whenever possible to avoid redundancy
  • Document and share opportunities for continuous improvement of the DAM to remain scalable and easily searchable as the Content + Brand team’s asset library continues to evolve and grow
Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field OR a PMP certification
  • 6+ years experience managing projects end-to-end, preferably for creative teams of 8 or more
  • Extraordinary organizational skills, self-directedness, and intuition

  • Growth mindset attuned to creative risk-taking, failure, problem-solving, and the art of starting over
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Figma or Miro, Slack, Monday, Contentful, Airtable, and Tableau (or aptitude and willingness to learn)
