Appnovation is looking for a talented business analyst (a.k.a. Business Architec) with strong PIM implementation experience, ideally with Pimberly PIM, to join our highly motivated and experienced team, working within our growing development team and creating solutions for our client base. This exciting role will give you the opportunity to lead development on groundbreaking Product Information Management projects.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Run client-facing workshops to facilitate business process and data requirements definition.
- Analyse large, as-is complex business processes and business architectures across the product lifecycle
- Documents data attributes, taxonomy, hierarchy, workflow and procedures in the PIM and metadata management tool
- Consult and work with solution delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements
- Understand and document projects related to data enrichment, data cleansing and process improvement by defining and managing project scope, deliverables, resources required, and timelines
- Analyze data quality reports to find inconsistencies and the data owner to map and recommend improvements
- Provides training to users in utilizing the PIM
Having a good mix of these skills will make you a great candidate for the role:
- Worked either in consulting or on the clients side on one or more retail, brand, manufacturer or distributor data-related projects, ideally around the product data space - for example, eCommerce, Digital, ERP, supply chain, DAM, PLM or product & supplier management.
- Been a business analyst on one or more complex end-to-end PIM or MDM projects
- Deep understanding of retail and distribution operating models relating to product and master data management
- Understanding of processes including new product introduction, vendor onboarding, merchandising, content enrichment, channel publishing and syndication
- Understand how to create a business requirements document and functional specification for a PIM or MDM solution
- Experience supporting functional testing and UAT in a hands-on capacity
- Experience writing training materials and training business users
- Used Jira, Confluence, Miro
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with diligent attention to detail
- Proven experience in UML and other process modelling techniques
- Understand how to estimate Business Analysis effort
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Working experience with the following is a plus:
- You have played a role on the client-side in product data management, or an associated role in digital product ownership on a transactional website or app
- You understand the key concepts of data governance and data quality such as accuracy, consistency, completeness
- Having a view of the wider business processes and systems to build a picture of how new/improved integrations will be received
- Have used 1 or more PIM or MDM solutions such as Enterworks, Stibo, Riversand, Informatica, Salsify, Sales Layer
