Summary:
Responsible for global product data content, processes, internal data owner governance, third-party supplier data sourcing and analytics initiatives across numerous departments. Global oversight on data delivery for Halyard, MediChoice and Medical Action product lines including (but not limited to) NA, EMEA, APAC and LATAM. Streamline processes for the integration of new data sets that will allow the look-up and sale of all Halyard/MediChoice/Medical Action products. Communicates regularly with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, Engineering, Transportation and Product Supply to insure timely and accurate data content delivery. Highly involved in projects with technology development and other teams to refine, adapt, and apply data models to our Stibo PIM platform. Communicates strategy and direction to define and implement the new business processes and systems impacted by content analytics efforts.

Core Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of a Product Information Data Manager are listed, but not limited to the following:
- Oversees data model for optimal delivery to all specified channels.
- Manages processes for product data from data sources (internal and external).
- Reviews data quality scorecards and dashboards in order to meet SLA and Governance standards.
- Works closely with Global Strategic Marketing teams on new product launches.
- Works closely with Operations teams to insure change management and quality standards are met
- Participates in industry events and training to understand trends and competitive position.
- Work directly with product managers to create and enhance product content
- Develops an understanding of Owens & Minor business model and requirements
- Research products and analyze product specification data for thousands of items
- Pinpoint terminology, attributes, and categorization structures critical to product definition and search
- Manage ontologies, taxonomy, and search schemas with continued refinement
- Help design and document processes to manage the input, review and maintenance of PIM application objects
- 4 year degree in management, business, or comparable
- Experience in a product data management
- Good understanding of data relationships and data modeling concepts
- InDesign and/or Photoshop experience a plus
- Ability to author detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to modify processes in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Working knowledge of Stibo STEP content management software a plus.
- Strong abilities in data exploration, data manipulation, and data visualization.
- Medical Device and or Medical Supply experience a plus but not required
