Job Description:

We’re looking for a MarTech & Data solution consultant to join our team as we expand our practice in the UK to to meet the growing needs of our clients and partners to provide outcome focused CXM transformations – including implementations, consultancy, and managed services projects. This is a business consulting role requiring a good level of technical platform knowledge and marketing domain expertise.

Our Solution Consultants deliver work in three main areas:

1) Pre-sales Support - Working closely with our growth and client service teams to help accelerate the sales process and onboard happy clients; specifically delivering:

  • Running ‘Phase Zero’ projects covering detailed discovery and solution definition for specific work-packages (incl writing BRDs) or wider programmes covering a range of Merkle / DAN services
  • Pricing of Fixed Price Projects, Designing High level Solution Architectures, Writing up of Statements of Work (contracts) etc
  • Defining clients’ CXM strategy, roadmaps and budgets
2) Consultancy Support – Working with our clients in an advisory capacity to help them accelerate value from technology; specifically delivering:

  • Platform audits, Software Vendor Assessment, RFP process management, Technology Platform and Vision Value Roadmaps
  • Retained strategic advisory role on key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and retention
3) Capability Enablement – Working with our internal teams to help accelerate their adoption of new technology, features and techniques; specifically in the following areas:

  • Thought leadership around our key technology partnerships and regularly knowledge sharing
  • Skills development, partner certification and service innovation based on evolving technology capabilities
This is a complex and challenging role with many aspects that you will need to balance on day to day basis including:

  • Working on multiple complex projects for different clients at the same time
  • Supporting the definition of our propositions and delivery methodologies
  • Leading delivery of large programmes of work beyond MarTech and Data e.g. into areas such as analytics, experience platforms, creative/production services etc.
  • Support new business qualification so that we are focusing on the right types of opportunities
  • Providing pre-sales support for growth and client services teams including proposal writing, pitch delivery and statements of work.
  • Working with your peers in other Dentsu EMEA Markets (Spain, The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Nordics) and other regions (APAC and AMER) to define best-practice methodologies for the best use of marketing technology.
Qualifications:

We are looking for someone from a consultancy / agency / software background with experience of CRM, CDPs and data-driven customer marketing programmes. Costing solutions, writing proposals and statements of work is a plus.

  • Capable of mapping out complex solutions in easy to understand formats for business leaders and non-technical marketeers to grasp
  • A strong negotiator who is naturally resilient, decisive, quick learner, target driven and Resilient
  • Capable of mapping out complex solutions in easy to understand formats for business leaders and non-technical marketeers to grasp
  • Experience in Adobe, Salesforce, Bloomreach, Braze, Excel(advanced), Powerpoint &/or another major MarTech Solution Vendor
  • Some experience in Data Solutions & CDPs – e.g.  one of the above or Tealium, mParticle and TreasureData
