JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing and E-commerce team at Costa Farms. This cross-functional position includes creative operations, data management customer and consumer insights, and events support. We are seeking a candidate with basic marketing experience who can take initiative and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Associate Media Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
The Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing and E-commerce team at Costa Farms. This cross-functional position includes creative operations, data management customer and consumer insights, and events support. We are seeking a candidate with basic marketing experience who can take initiative and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Associate Media Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the ordering and retrieval of plant material for marketing initiatives such as photo/video production.
- Assist in occasional basic photography needs for marketing materials, with a willingness to learn and improve on the job.
- Upload and tag assets in the Digital Asset Management System (DAM), ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Collaborate with team members to align marketing efforts and support e-commerce & social assets programs.
- Manage the shipping process of sample products, signage, and marketing materials to influencers, PR opportunities, and key accounts.
- Perform clerical tasks, including updating project tracking sheets, ensuring timely project closure, and maintaining cleanliness of records.
- Manage data, such as assisting with SKU system setup.
- Support project management efforts, utilizing tools such as Smartsheet and other relevant software.
- Assist in the coordination of marketing and customer events, as required.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary assets and information for marketing materials.
- Stay updated and report on industry trends/best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing strategies.
- Associate or BBA degree in administration, business, production, communications or marketing courses.
- Ability to work with Microsoft programs (excel, power point, word).
- At least 1 to 2 years office administrative experience, internship at advertising agencies, digital marketing or social media.
