Job Description

Leo Burnett is seeking a freelance Digital Asset Manager. Initial duration will be 4 months with likely extension and potential opportunity to be hired on full-time.

***This will be a hybrid position based in Chicago, working 2 days/week onsite***

Must be interested in working in and Ad agency. Open to training someone who has related experience. Great opportunity for someone who is interested in working in advertising and digital asset management.

General Asset Management

  • Manage asset ingestion, upload media assets into a centralized cloud-based asset library, adding appropriate tags, monitoring any automated ingestion and/or assets uploaded by other individuals
  • Migrate content from sources outside of the DAM to the DAM
  • Tag and support tagging at key points in the asset lifecycle (e.g. asset upload, asset clearance, final assets)
  • Generate and distribute Asset reporting
  • Provide training and support to DAM end users
  • Help govern & audit the system to ensure health of the DAM
  • Help enforce consistency and accuracy of metadata and folder structure to maximize searchability and rights expiration tracking
  • Execute change management: intake change requests, assess value and impact, make changes as necessary and communicate to appropriate parties
  • Monitor  – monitor space usage, determine when more space is needed or if content should be archived, communicate recommendation to key stakeholders and execute recommended plan upon approval
  • Assist with managing and documenting DAM process
  • Contribute to DAM product roadmap
Administrative

  • Work with system administrators and/or tech support for user provisioning and to provide user support
  • Manage user access and permissions
  • Train and onboard of new users]
  • Assist with asset requests – share/distribute relevant assets to individuals or work groups
  • Field content questions from users and stakeholders from across Client, LBG, Publicis Groupe, and Vendors
  • Conduct content audits in support of brand projects to identify pertinent DAM content for reuse
  • Support the client’s enterprise DAM vision including providing some support to other partner agencies
Qualifications

  • Preferred degree or certification in Library and Information Science, Archives and Records Management, or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Digital Asset Management, Digital Media Management, or technical experience with library systems, content management systems, or other large searchable databases used in the creation of web pages, media, or research
  • Previous Agency experience a plus, specifically knowledge of creative process and asset lifecycles
  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems, knowledge of AEM or other Adobe products is a plus (either as a business practitioner, developer, or both)
  • Proven success as a key member of a matrixed, cross-functional team; able to work equally well with people in business, creative, and technical positions
  • Ability to apply sound judgement while working independently within tight timelines
  • Demonstrated commitment going above and beyond to help customers, system users, or patrons in solving problems or locating Information
  • Highly organized, flexible and adaptable to unique situations
  • Strong skills in communication, organization, multi-tasking and problem solving
  • Well-developed attention to detail
  • Process oriented, ability to think through workflows and team needs
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, able to thrive in changing, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work from the Chicago office as needed
