Job Description

Reporting to the onsite Team Leader, the Digital Project Manager, (also referred to as a Cybrarian) is a hybrid position of both managing our clients’ digital assets and account management.  The Digital Project Manager is responsible for managing, but not limited to, managing our clients digital asset management system, ensuring that all digital assets filed & labeled properly, have clear standards, and integrate with other enterprise software systems. This role leads the creation and evolution of digital asset management capabilities, streamlines operations, optimizes user workflows, ensures governance, metadata standards and maintains best practices for digital asset management. This person is also responsible for proactively providing support to the OBF account team in the production and tracking of packaging items.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Uphold governance policies and procedures to ensure standardized asset categorization, establish consistent data definitions, and monitor overall quality of content
  • Help to update, and prioritize, the database Bug and Development Enhancement Lists
  • Management over the DAM metadata fields, permission schemes, workflow schemes, notification schemes, and reports to help simplify the user experience
  • Develop processes and drive automation around tools administration, digital asset management
  • Monitor system usage and identify solutions to improve participation, requests, and workflows
  • Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness
  • Assist the support team in user support and system maintenance
  • Demonstrable ability to translate business needs into requirements and define those in a written format that allows the development teams to align behind the product vision
  • Support the OBF onsite account team:
  • Manage the requests for the existing new product and packaging digital assets
  • Reconciling files (renaming, deleting dupes, scanning, etc.) and then tagging all of the files in our database
  • Works with Integrated Partners team to clean up image data for search-ability and archiving
  • Support for packaging projects; fulfilling misc. requests, proofing, backup
  • Coordinate Comp requests: including estimating, providing direction, proofing, gaining approvals
  • Maintain product charts updates

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Communication or Information Technology – or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of proven leadership experience in digital asset management
  • Experience using a Digital Asset Management or Image Database software application
  • Extensive experience working with Excel, Google Sheets and/or Smartsheets
  • Strong knowledge of DAM, CMS, metadata taxonomy, and EPIM sites
  • Basic knowledge of graphic arts industry a plus
  • Client-facing experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate an extreme attention to detail, and be able to enter data in all applications accurately
