Digital Content Specialist

We are seeking an Digital Content Specialist to join our eCommerce Digital Center of Excellence. This position reports directly to our Digital Content Manager.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping our brands connect with consumers by managing product data and digital assets to serve online consumers through varied eCommerce channels.  This role will support the growing product data needs related to eCommerce business initiatives and the constant improvement of Apex Tool Group brand websites and printed materials.  The successful candidate will need to have a strong data management background and experience with product data in eCommerce.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and maintain product listings on retailer sites such as Amazon, Lowes.com, acmetools.com, and more
• Partner with eCommerce Analysts, Product Managers, and Sales Account Managers to understand new product launches
• Responsible for implementing new retailer standards as needed
• Able to juggle multiple competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Become familiar with Apex Tool Group’s products and how those products should be best described
• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational, communication and, interpersonal skills
• Experience with database searches, reporting, and data quality
• Assist with other E-Commerce efforts as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with both technical and business personnel
• E-Commerce Experience
• Experience with a Product Information Management (PIM) system – Stibo Systems’ STEP technology preferred
• Experience with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system – Adobe preferred
• Exceptional computer skills – (MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Pivot Tables, Excel Scripting)
• Excellent communication and analytical skills. Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Research and reporting skills, attention to detail, customer focused, proactive and dependable
• Proficiency in SAP, Stibo STEP, Adobe DAM Brand Portal
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
