Our Role
The Digital Asset Manager is responsible for the organisation and workflow of imagery into the Digital Asset Management system. Meticulous and knowledgeable on file formats, you will ensure all image selects have accurate metadata and are output in the correct colour profile and file format. This role requires an image professional who can organise the DAM and build taxonomies that allow all channels to access the digital assets, swiftly and securely. The Digital Asset Manager will have a thorough understanding of the online and offline image formats required by business channels.
The role requires an individual who is organised, knowledgeable and confident working at pace with a high attention to detail.
What you’ll be doing
The Digital Asset Manager will also be responsible for the flow of external retouching, working to a tight schedule and preparing a high-volume of assets for use across The White Company website, emails and marketing materials. They will retouch e-com imagery including backgrounds, colour correction and model touch ups, archiving raw and unretouched assets.

What you’ll be doing

- Managing the Digital assets (image, copy and data files but principally image) into the DAM
- Determining metadata fields required by user departments and build into the taxonomy
- Ensuring accurate image usage rights are integrated into metadata
- Liaising with the shoot team and third parties
- Collaborating with the design and art direction team
- Working with the Production & Traffic Manager to develop the Celum DAM processes
- Training and educating the system users in best practice
- Reviewing and conducting testing DAM upgrades, customisations and project manage change
- Suppling assets to all external online concessions in line with critical paths
- Managing e-com retouching, and approving imagery for online use, as well as monitoring retouching spend
- Performing non-destructive colour correction on garments and skin, extend backgrounds and carry out light cosmetic retouching
- Working with external parties to develop 3D renders
- Fostering good relationships with external DAM supplier
- Presenting the functions and benefits of the DAM system to the wider business
