Activision Blizzard is on the quest for a hardworking Associate Media Admin to join our Global Broadcast team!
This role will ensure that the DAM resources are impeccably organized, tagged, and searchable within quick turnaround windows. You are familiar with, or willing to learn, our Activision Blizzard Esport IPs to identify our talent. You will take charge of onboarding and training new users and locate assets when needed. You can identify user needs and bottlenecks and can implement new workflows to address them. You will be a master of asset usage and user permissions, to help us provide the most secure, functional, and organized DAM ever!
The ideal candidate relishes in the details and has an affinity for Activision Blizzard games and Esports. They understand the fast-paced nature of live broadcast environments and appreciates learning new tools and technical concepts. They love metadata, tagging, and understand the importance of a good filename. They recognize when something can be improved upon and feel fulfilled when implementing a better process. Digital Asset Management is a new initiative within the company and many of the organizational procedures and standards are being built from the ground up; we need someone prepared to roll up their sleeves and dive in.

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service, reference, and resource assistance to library users
- Oversee ingest and organization of assets, coming in from various global locations
- Oversee new users, both internal and external, for onboarding, outreach, and continual support
- Perform system and user audits when needed
- Create and upkeep documentation to maintain department visibility
- Work with Legal, PR, and Producers to understand, gather, and tag usage rights
- Work directly with I.T. and DevOps to submit bug/enhancement tickets and track to completion
- Work closely with our MAM Admin to streamline onboarding processes and operations
- Perform other duties for the Global Broadcast team as required, including assistance with our Media Asset Management (MAM) platform
- Knowledge in photography, post-produced video, and talent usage
- 3+ years of Asset Management experience on an Enterprise level (let us know what platform(s) you’ve used!)
- Knowledge of Blizzard intellectual properties
- Love metadata and understand the importance of it
- Proven knowledge of industry standard methodologies in taxonomy and governance
- You should be thorough, with ability to multi-task, work independently, and manage time effectively
- Ability to juggle several projects, simultaneously, and track progress against a timeline
- Superb interpersonal skills, oral, written, and collaboration skills for working in a globally diverse team environment
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Excel
- Adobe Premiere
- Video editing and media knowledge
- MAM experience (let us know what platform(s) you’ve used!)
- Broadcast Production experience
- Love of Esports
