DAM Event Updates – 6th January 2021
There are a number of DAM related events occurring next week.
On Wednesday 13th January, Henry Stewart Events begins its Keywording Creative Content series of online educational courses. Led by metadata and keywording consultant Clemency Wright, and comprising four in-depth sessions, the course is designed for anyone working with digital images or videos that wishes to improve their keywording skills.

You will learn the role keywords play in enabling your business to tell a story and engage your customers on an emotional level. Moving beyond the basic ‘say what you see’ approach, you will learn how to keyword assets that are difficult to describe in words. Also on 13th January, Microsoft’s Catherine Devine will be presenting ‘Visitor Experience – Education and Community, Hololens, Chatbots, Accessibility, Exhibitions Development, Esports and Gaming‘ – a free online session forming part of its Libraries and Museums digital transformation initiative.

On Thursday 14th January, research and advisory company Gartner will be hosting a strategy based webinar. The 2021 Chief Marketing Officer Top Strategic Priorities, presented by VP Analysts Augie Ray and Jay Wilson, will be discussing the impact of COVID-19 across numerous sectors, and how current marketing strategies need to evolve in order to cope with a rapidly changing landscape.
