Four Tips For More Successful DAM Implementations
In this feature article, I present four tips for smoother Digital Asset Management implementations, including:
- Start planning implementation well before you begin looking at product
- Acknowledge that others in your organisation will have travelled down this path before you
- Think about your entire digital asset supply chain
- Define metadata schema and any taxonomies in-advance
I plan to write some follow-up posts on this subject as there are far more than just four recommended practices, however, end-users who are just starting to investigate DAM implementations and learning about best practice, should find a few pointers to help guide them towards a more successful outcome:
