VAIsual And Smarterpix Sign world first Synthetic Media Distribution Agreement

German stock photo provider PantherMedia has partnered with synthetic content pioneer vAIsual to offer wholly synthetic content for the first time.  Phase one will see synthetic human images available for download on Smarterpix.com, with each image rendered against a green screen backdrop for ease of composition and layering.  Mark Milstein, Rainmaker at vAIsual has previously contributed a feature article on the subject of synthetic stock content, which can be read here.

2021 – A review of visual tech

4 Important Signs You Need a Next-Generation DAM System

Digital Asset Management software vendor MerlinOne present a number of scenarios that might suggest your organisation is in need of a new DAM initiative.  Signs that you need to update include scalability issues, a general growth in your company’s use of digital assets, insufficient or non-existent integration with your marketing tools, and reliance on traditional metadata, keywords, or tagging, which can easily get out of hand and diminish the searchability of your assets when multiple users are involved.

Full DAM vs. Light DAM: What’s the Difference?
