As a member of the web production team, together we will go above and beyond to enable our internal customers to accomplish business objectives!

As a Web Production Specialist, you will organise and manage content from business partners and thoughtfully enter it into our website’s content management system (CMS). You will collaborate with and advise business partners to ensure digital content is accurate, consistent, and adheres to digital, editorial, SEO and brand standards. You will use brand style, user experience (UX) design, and standard processes to advise and drive your production decisions.

What will you do?

  • Support the direction of website content and user experience  across Binding Site/ PDX website platforms
  • Build and edit web pages within the CMS (Adobe Experience Manager) while following style guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal customers and Campaign Managers to understand web content requests, seeking clarification on open questions. Advise on methodology and UX. Ensure digital content adheres to brand standards and web guidelines
  • Assess incoming web requests and take action to fix broken links, misspellings, redirects and more
  • Carry out user experience testing and maintain continuous improvements on the website through quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Reporting and feedback to be delivered regularly to management and key collaborators
  • Approval and publish all unstructured content built for Thermofisher.com/bindingsite and it’s relevant language variations
  • Implement all web workflows within our CMS
  • Upload images, marketing documents, and videos to the appropriate asset management systems (Adobe DAM and Showpad)
  • Project management of work requirements to retrieve content, complete assigned workflow steps, communicate updates to projects, and uploading URLs for review
  • Complete web tactics and handle workflow and timelines of multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Monitor and lead SEO activities to improve the visibility of the website content on internet search engines
Education

  • A bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
Experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with customer-facing web sites
  • Familiar with web publishing content management systems; hands-on experience a plus, Adobe Experience Manager a bonus
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles; and familiar with HTML and CSS
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite of products including Photoshop, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver

  • Ability to problem-solving and exercise judgment and independence in identifying next steps
  • A strong focus on accuracy, an eye for design consistency, and robust attention to detail
  • An excellent teammate with the ability to collaborate with all project team members on a formal, informal, written, and verbal basis
