About the Role

Our Digital Asset Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management, oversight, and maintenance of our Community Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. With a passion for learning and helping workmates, this role will help in the establishment and evolution of digital asset management capabilities, standardizing processes to streamline operations, increase adoption and establish governance. Metadata standards, taxonomy, and best practices are also important to this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration and stakeholder support: Support workmates who need to create and edit videos and other digital assets. Build and maintain strong working relationships and nurture strong partnerships across teams.
  • VTT files: Edit, upload, and coordinate the upload of VTT files with other teammates.
  • Asset Management and Governance: Establish and maintain guidelines, standard processes, and instructions for stakeholders and ensure assets adhere to taxonomy guidelines, file naming conventions and metadata schema. Tag and upload assets as needed.
  • User Management, Advocacy, and Awareness: Provide training and onboarding for new users as needed, as well as handle user permissions and access. Promote adoption, usage, and standard methodologies to further ongoing success of the DAM, through communication and documentation.
  • Reporting: Improve operational metrics to lead change by data collection and analysis.
  • Process Optimization: Identify ways to simplify, eliminate, or automate inefficient aspects of the current workflow and ensure efficient distribution of assets to a diverse set of workmates.
  • Technical Specialist: Responsible for daily maintenance and DAM usability. Assist in crafting overall strategic direction and roadmap for continuous improvements, perform routine maintenance, performance analysis, auditing, and archiving.
About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of asset management experience and 3+ years Project or Program Management in major organization(s).
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager / Adobe Assets / Brightcove / Camtasia.
  • 3+ years of being fluent with different asset types and experience identifying and implementing digital asset management efficiencies within business units.
  • Experience with taxonomy, establishing digital asset cataloging and metadata standards strategy with at least 3+ years experience with VTT files.
  • Professional experience working in Media production with hands on experience managing media players and DAMs
Other Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Experience in program or project management, leading and delivering cross functional projects working closely with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Meticulous and fanatical about creating order from disorder; understand the appropriate level of process to apply to different projects and demonstrate commitment to going above and beyond to help users.
  • Strong ability to analyze issues, tackle problems, and improve processes.
  • Willingness to occasionally work alternative shifts to accommodate stakeholders in other time zones.
  • Flexible and positive with change, having a can-do attitude and roll-up-your-sleeves approach to anything that comes your way.
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, able to quickly grasp new concepts and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience with, and curiosity to learn more about, Excel.
