POSITION SUMMARY

USA Lacrosse is looking for a SR Producer, Digital Media to lead the ideation, creation, and execution of creative video and photography initiatives across the organization to support the mission of USA Lacrosse.  In this role, you will oversee pre-production planning, storyboarding, videography and photography, non-linear editing, and motion design.  You will get to partner with the Director, Marketing & Content to collaborate with the marketing and communications team, as well as other departments across the organization.

A Typical Day Looks Like…

  • At the direction of the Director, Marketing & Content, oversees the production of digital media for USA Lacrosse, including, but not limited to video and photography development for social media, website and email content, advertising, and all other marketing initiatives, ensuring brand alignment and emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborates with the marketing and communications teams to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute video and photography projects to design stories to fuel the growth of lacrosse, engage with the community, and showcase USA Lacrosse’s National Teams program throughout the country.    
  • Creates and develops multimedia content for stories and initiatives from the lacrosse community, including videos and photography supporting internal organizational, promotional, social media, and product marketing for all USA Lacrosse events, programs, and initiatives including U.S. National Teams, National Team Developmental Program, and other campaigns/projects to raise brand awareness, drive engagement, drive a direct CTA, and create content to drive and increase revenue.
  • Collaborates with the editorial, social media, and marketing teams, as well as other internal departments on video concepts, stories, and branded content campaigns.  This includes taking creative briefs from key stakeholders to create content.
  • Captures and edits video and audio projects including, but not limited to, organizing raw media, designing motion graphics, titling, sound design/voice-over/SFX, media management, and archiving.
  • Leads scripting, designing, and producing live streams and asset distribution.
  • Oversees and maintains a data asset management (DAM) archival platform for all video and photo content while ensuring best practices are met with tagging, storage oversight, etc.
  • Sources, secures, and manages agency and freelance partnerships for video and photography needs, while managing a marketing freelance budget.
  • Coordinates with project requestors to ensure workflow, documentation, and design standards are being upheld and projects are completed on time and within budget.  This includes providing regular updates on project status and escalating any potential roadblocks and/or delays.    
  • Ensures all content aligns with USA Lacrosse’s brand standards and has consistent messaging, including voice, tone, and overall brand look and feel.
  • Stays up to date on all trends with social and digital standards to be current and keep USA Lacrosse at the forefront of its creative initiatives.  This includes providing recommendations on projects to make sure output is best in class.
Is This You…

  • 5 to 8 years in a hands-on role within the video, photo, production, content and/or digital industry.
  • Knowledge of Sony DSLR family.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Media Encoder).
  • Experience in scripting, designing, and producing live streams. Thorough knowledge of live production.
  • Compelling portfolio of work with a wide range of digital and multi-media projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Proven experience taking creative briefs to final deliverables.
  • Passion for the creative grind, including being creative, having fun, and being yourself.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, support, and manage multiple projects including production schedules and media assets with the ability to meet deadlines and be within budget.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication, including verbal, written, and interpersonal.  This includes the ability to collaborate, manage projects, and build relationships internally and externally to establish trust and confidence.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic, cross-functional team working toward a common goal.
  • Ability to be flexible with your work schedule, including the ability to work nights and weekends based on event needs and priorities.  This will include overnight and weekend travel for domestic and international events as needed.
  • Willingness to learn about the sport of lacrosse and appreciate the need to develop, grow, and fuel the growth of the sport with diversity, equity, and inclusion in mind.
  • Ability to align with USA Lacrosse's Mission, Vision, and Values and Strategic Plan to support our initiatives and organizational goals.
