This position will be in Charlotte, NC (Uptown/Downtown) area.  Local candidates will be given first consideration. Successful candidate will work a "hybrid" schedule – alternating working onsite at this location and working remotely each week.  Alternate schedules must be approved.   This is NOT 100% remote working schedule.

Position Overview:

Ecommerce Content/ PIM (Product Information Management) Specialist will be responsible for managing Hayward product and marketing content within our PIM instance (Akeneo). Areas of responsibility include collection, organization and overall quality management and improvement of product information within the PIM. Position will own the PIM strategy and partner with many internal and external teams to execute daily responsibilities.

This position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing.

Responsibilities

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, maintain and monitor core product data within the Akeneo PIM system to ensure data is complete, accurate, and updated in a timely manner
  • Develop strategy, process and requirements for product data creation, development and organization within Akeneo PIM
  • Responsible for owning product data and digital assets in the PIM for the purpose of serving online customers through various e-commerce channels and other business initiatives
  • Act as internal Akeneo expert and serve as primary contact for eCommerce content requests and strategic changes to PIM architecture
  • Work in a cross-functional capacity with members from product, marketing, digital and other business teams to make decisions and execute updates to product information
  • Take input from multiple internal partners, both technical and business, to identify needs and priorities, and clarify product requirements and their impact
  • Identify compelling opportunities for improvement of product information and Akeneo architecture to support ecommerce channels
  • Create and maintain new product launch standards for content creation and partner with Creative Services and Marketing Managers to ensure those standards are incorporated into new product development processes
  • Lead internal conversations about product data feeds, partnering with IT and Engineering to develop source of truth for product data, incorporating ERP and Engineering product data along with marketing data 
  • Manage large content modification projects such as brand change, attribute addition or category updates
  • Organize content and data attributes for new SKU launches and manage discontinued skus for our website and marketplaces
  • Re-format content as needed for uploads and confirming data flows correctly into PIM and through to ecommerce channels like Adobe Magento
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business or related field
  • 3+ years’ work experience in product data management or product information in a corporate setting is required (preferably in consumer durables or B2B Industry) required
  • 2+ years work in digital marketing or e-commerce preferred
  • Previous experience working with Content/Product Information Management Systems and large data sets is required, Akeneo PIM experience preferred
  • Knowledge of integration of PIM with DAM and commerce Platforms.

  • Excellent creative thinking, problem solving, project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies for maximum efficiency
  • Work in self-directed, fast-paced environment with excellent time management and productivity output
  • Experience partnering with web development teams to understand ecommerce/website needs
  • B2B e-Commerce / website experience
