Creative Coordinator – DAM and Project Management

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Creative Coordinator to manage our digital asset management system and coordinate creative projects. You’ll work alongside an amazing marketing team to bring the RCX Sports mission to life by leading the organization of our digital marketing assets and assisting with the marketing project management process. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for sports and experience in digital asset management and creative project management assistance.  

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement a roadmap for our digital asset management system focused on streamlining operations, optimizing user flows and permissions, and maintaining best practices.  
  • Discover ways to enhance automation of asset tagging and ingestion within MediaValet.  
  • Design and implement taxonomy and metadata strategies following industry best practices (SEO, ADA, automation, global)  
  • Perform asset ingestion, organization, maintenance, and lifecycle management in the DAM system.  
  • Act as the subject matter expert training and guidance on assigned project initiatives, such as photo rights management.  
  • Prioritize work, develop training materials, and ensure steady state production stays on target.  
  • Provide oversight and direction for image workflows.  
  • Maintain and contribute to standards and governance, staying current with industry best practices.  
  • Manage video/photography publishing to downstream collateral, collaborating with the Creative team.
  • Serve as an expert and point person for the DAM system.  
  • Manage intake with Project Manager for creative requests, prioritizing based on deadlines and skill set requirements.  
  • Ensure timely delivery of work, communicate consistently with the creative team, and provide status updates to marketing and executive staff.
  • Gather assets and provide early-stage creative setup to assist designers and writers.
What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience organizing and tagging images using Adobe Lightroom Classic.
  • Knowledge of image metadata best practices and IPTC fields.  
  • Experience publishing photo/video assets to DAMs, stock libraries, or similar repositories.  
  • Ability to intake, organize and articulate requests and manage project timelines.  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with external partners.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and cloud-based technologies  
  • Proficiency with a DAM (MediaValet) and Lightroom a plus  
  • Experience using Asana and Dropbox for project management a plus.  
  • Familiarity with the youth sports industry preferred.
