Wedia Group advances digital asset management with Claude

This recent case study from AI solutions provider Anthropic showcases how DAM provider Wedia have leveraged AI to process and apply metadata to large volumes of images.  Anthropic’s Claude platform is capable of generating and providing domain-specific metadata translations in over 20 languages, reportedly reducing metadata generation time by over 90%.  Wedia are using Amazon’s Bedrock in tandem with Claude to provide a privacy-centric LLM solution that reduces brand risk.

DAM vendor Acquia explore the different methods for calculating ROI – a key metric that’s often used to support a business case for DAM.  The article quotes the usual calculations to demonstrate potential savings: X number of employees wasting Y amount of time searching for assets can cost your business Z dollars per year.  As we’ve mentioned numerous times here on DAM News, although such quantitative ROI figures may look impressive on paper, they are all too easily identified and dismissed by senior stakeholders as spurious due to a lack of any real-world analytical data to back them up.
