Webinar: The State of DAM User Adoption Today – 17th October 2019

by Charles Russell on September 13, 2019

The State of DAM User Adoption Today is a webinar to be held on Thursday 17th October at 4:30pm UK time (8:30am PT, 11:30am ET, 5:30pm CET). The event is being jointly hosted by DAM Guru Program, Insight Exchange Network (IEN), London DAM Meetup and New Jersey DAM Meetup. A range of discussion topics will be covered, including:

  • What practices have been successful in the adoption of DAM?
  • What challenges have the panel faced or are aware of?
  • Who are your users?
  • Why is UI/UX so significant to user adoption?

An often overlooked issue, user adoption is a complex and demanding problem that can have a huge impact on the ROI of a DAM system and often governs whether a DAM project is successful or not. Amidst the wealth of resources covering DAM features and their capabilities, practical advice concerning adoption is often difficult to source, and this discussion aims to provide such guidance. The panelists are: Lisa Grimm, Director of DAM at Novartis; Ian Matzen MLIS, Digital Asset Manager, blogger; Henrik de Gyor, consultant, writer and owner of Another DAM Podcast; and Ralph Windsor, Editor of DAM News. The moderator will be Frank DeCarlo, CEO of RPR Graphics.

The webinar is free of charge and is open to anyone with an interest in DAM adoption, including operators, consultants and vendors. The event will also be free from sponsorship and sales pitches and will aim to provide real-world guidance and insights that end users can relate to their own DAM adoption initiatives .
