Featured Event – The Next Generation: Navigating the Age of Generative AI and Deepfakes – 1st March 2023


This week’s featured event takes a look at the emerging field of generative artificial intelligence and deepfakes, and how they might shape our lives in the future.  Hosted by the Intellectual Forum, Jesus College at Cambridge University, ‘The Next Generation: Navigating the Age of Generative AI and Deepfakes‘ is a free to attend in-person event taking place on Wednesday 1st March at 7:30pm (GMT).  Topics covered will include text and image generation platforms such as ChatGPT, DALL-E and Stable Diffusion, faceswapping, deepfake and voice-cloning tools, and the challenges posed by this rapid and radical change in the way our content is both generated and consumed.  This promises to be an engaging and insightful session from Henry Ajder, one of the world’s leading voices on generative AI and synthetic media.
