DAM Event Updates – 14th October 2020


Next week there are a number of DAM (or related) industry events.

On Tuesday 20th October, Adobe are holding their  Adobe MAX Event.  This year’s edition is entirely online (in contrast to previous years).  There are 350 sessions across ten different tracks covering disciplines as diverse as Creativity and Design in Business through to Illustration and Digital Painting.  The speakers are equally varied and include a number of celebrities as well as creative practitioners:

The Digital Experience Summit, hosted by publishers of CMSWire.com, Simpler Media Group is on Wednesday 21st October.  There are five different tracks covering the core DX concepts of Design, Optimise, Integrate, Build and Innovate:

Finally, the Digital Media Licensing Association Conference kicks off at the start of the following week on Sunday 25th at 4pm (ET) with a virtual cocktail party and runs through to Friday 30th October.  The schedule covers a wide array of topics, from the future of commercial photography through to ‘synthetic content’ and Google’s Licensable Image features.  If you are photographer (or are involved in stock media) this looks like a very useful event to participate in:
