Featured Job – Taxonomist/Ontologist, AppleCare – 26th August 2022

This week’s featured position is for a Digital Taxonomist/Ontologist with Apple’s extended warranty and technical support brand, AppleCare.  The successful candidate is expected to have at least three years of experience developing taxonomies, along with a proven track record in information architecture.  The role’s key responsibilities will include defining and implementing foundational taxonomies, ontologies, metadata, schemas and models across AppleCare’s numerous digital channels.  Additional tasks include working with product owners, data scientists and IT partners to establish best practice for workflows, standards, governance and change management across all taxonomy solutions.
