Featured Job – Digital Archivist, The Coca-Cola Company – 31st May 2024


This week’s featured opening is for a Digital Archivist with American multinational drinks corporation The Coca-Cola Company.  Candidates are expected to have an MLIS or equivalent degree, with at least five years’ experience working in an archive/museum collections or corporate DAM environment.  Key duties will include developing, implementing and maintaining the organisation’s digital archives preservation program, responding to complex research and asset inquiries, and engaging with stakeholders to create and expand digital-born archive policies covering scope, security, access, use, and emergency preparations.  Additional responsibilities will include managing a digital asset backlog, conducting audits, troubleshooting and reporting, managing taxonomy and metadata schemas, providing onboarding and training for CMS and DAM tools, and interacting with a broad range of associates, bottlers, agencies, partners and researchers.

Experience of data migration, system decommissioning, and a familiarity with copyright and intellectual property is also desirable.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Archives, the Digital Archivist leads initiatives to preserve, categorize, and facilitate access to both digitized and born-digital archival assets within The Coca-Cola Company Archives.”  [Read More]
