Videographer

This position is responsible for planning, producing (capturing and editing) visual/multimedia content to support Concordia’s institutional and enrollment marketing strategies. This position collaborates with individuals across the division and the college to plan, organize and execute projects. The individual must be proactive in delivering video for websites, social media, marketing campaigns, etc.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plan, author and edit creative, compelling and shareable visual/multimedia content
• Collaborate with other specialists: writers, designers, and programmers (among others) to ensure timely placement of content.
• Manage the digital assets management (DAM) system
• Manage and mentor student staff as needed

Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated experience capturing and editing video
• Exhibits an eye for the aesthetic (design and detail)
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional collaboration skills and commitment to teamwork
• Understanding of basic marketing communications principles and best practices

Minimum Qualifications     

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software (specifically Premiere)
• Experience with professional video equipment
