What will you do?
A day in the life of a Digital Asset Manager at Vans looks a little like this.
As the Digital Asset Manager, you will ensure that all Vans digital creative assets are accessible to Global and Regional teams within our Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool. Responsibilities will include managing user accounts, uploading assets, maintaining best practices, and implementing new integrations. You will interface with multiple departments in the company when training, providing support, and promoting the system. Admin support for additional connected tools utilized by the Creative team will round out your responsibilities. This role sits within the Global Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Creative Operations.

- Asset metadata tagging, renaming, resizing, and uploading to the DAM system
- Ensuring usage rights for all assets are tracked in the system, in partnership with legal and production teams
- Assisting DAM users with file retrieval, troubleshooting, and understanding usage rights
- Establishing and maintaining best practices with the Project Management team, who supports with DAM uploading
- Onboarding new DAM users, setting up accounts with appropriate access levels, and training
- Maintaining the DAM user interface to ensure it’s usefulness across multiple departments
- Administration of the Project Management workflow tool, including running reports, onboarding new users, and making adjustments and improvements to the system as needed

- Passion for metadata and taxonomy
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Creative workflows and systems, including Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of legal
- Drive to understand and implement new technology
- Solid interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- Working knowledge of Orange Logic DAMs, Cloudinary, Wrike, Figma, and Microsoft Office
- Experience implementing and migrating to new DAM systems
