Overview

Major League Soccer is searching for an experienced professional to help build and scale our Digital Asset Management platform, acting as the single point of contact for all technical aspects of our DAM. They must have outstanding communication skills and a keen ability to convey complex technical ideas in easily understood terms to business partners. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies, processes, and workflows within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for the effective management and organization of digital assets.
  • Administer the AEM Digital Asset Management (DAM) module, including user access controls, permissions, workflows, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Optimize asset search capabilities within AEM, including configuring search filters, facets, and advanced search functionalities. Enable easy and intuitive asset retrieval for internal users.
  • Automate asset workflows within AEM using processes and integrations with other systems. Streamline asset ingestion, approval, transformation, and publishing processes.
  • Leverage AEM reporting capabilities to track asset usage, performance, and analytics. Generate reports and insights to identify usage trends, asset efficiency, and areas for improvement.
  • In conjunction with Asset Manager, conduct training sessions, document processes, and provide ongoing support to internal users on AEM's digital asset management features and functionalities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate AEM with other systems, such as content management systems, marketing automation platforms, other DAMs, and creative tools.
  • Monitor AEM system performance, conduct routine maintenance tasks, and coordinate system upgrades and patches in collaboration with developers and vendors.
  • Stay current with the latest trends, features, and standard methodologies in Adobe AEM and digital asset management.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher emphasizing Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in digital asset management, content management, or a similar role.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), particularly in configuring and administering the Digital Asset Management (DAM) module.
  • Familiarity with AEM workflows, permissions, user access controls, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in configuring metadata schemas, taxonomy structures, and asset properties within AEM.
  • Ability to troubleshoot AEM issues, perform system maintenance tasks, and coordinate system upgrades and patches.
  • Ability to deliver highly technical information in a business-friendly manner to encourage adoption.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, team environment, as well as independently.
  • Candidates should have experience managing projects via project management platforms and methodologies.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and bring new ideas to the table.
  • High-level of commitment to a quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the sport of soccer
  • Knowledge of graphic file formats and color systems
