The Market Planning and Creative Tech Lead is the Business Product Lead for the marketing tools to support planning workflow and creation capabilities (e.g., Adobe, GCMA)​

The Business Lead is a senior leader in the marketing organization who sets vision and business objectives, serving as the voice of the customer to digital and operational partners. They provide insights into the overall strategy and key outcomes that are expected (e.g., increase customer awareness) ​

Partner with Digital colleagues, e.g., Engineering, Architecture and Product on strategic intake demand that drives new capabilities withing the Digital product portfolio. They help shape key product group artifacts and provide expertise and feedback to guide product groups during the delivery  

Success in this role includes ensuring that the products evolve to deliver unparalleled value to the marketing organization.  

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understands priorities for marketing organization, set vision and establish experience level OKRs.
  • Exemplify excellence in product management, combining knowledge of both business and technology to create strategies, develop and manage product roadmaps, and define meaningful object and key results (OKRs) to measure value and impact.
  • The Planning and Creative Lead is responsible for technology roadmap to support planning, briefing, workflow, creative asset production and storage, including long-term asset management across business lines, including:​
  • Enabling a dynamic briefing process to support creative development and media planning.​
  • Ensure planning collects and organizes data for reporting, analytics and optimization of asset and campaign performance.​
  • Enable dynamic and automated workflow across brand, performance marketing, marketing ops, agencies and analytic teams.​
  • Ensure creative teams have the software and hardware required to develop best in class creative across mediums including; digital, photography, motion and video.​
  • Creative production tools that enable and enhance Pfizer’s Glocal strategy.​
  • Building an enterprise Digital Asset Management platform that provides easy access to digital assets with a flexible design to enable personalization across channels.​
  • Drive customer-centric (employee) optimization by continuously gathering insights and pain points from end-users (e.g., product marketers) to shape product group backlog for actionable improvements to creative technology products, in conjunction with Digital Product Management team(s)​
  • Work closely with Business Leads and Business Owners to address planning, workflow and creative technology interdependencies across marketing and sales​
  • Lead a team of Business Product Leaders to develop the strategy and vision for the planning and creative tech stack, be obsessed with user experience, and guide the outcomes and evolution of the technologies and platforms​
  • Ensure digital assets are accessible across channels with an infrastructure to support dynamic experiences and personalization. ​
  • Lead innovation that enables Generative AI content creation and approval.​
  • Prioritize business cases and optimize resource allocation across products (both existing and new); work with Business Owners and Digital on business case development and approvals​
  • Proactively identify business needs, draft business requirements, and articulate a value delivery roadmap, and ensure execution against roadmap via close coordination and project management with Digital Group Product Managers​
  • Manage relationships and engagement with platform / technology vendors (in collaboration with Digital team) to ensure objectives are met​
  • Explore external platform and technology landscape, and evaluate potential new solutions against relevant business needs in collaboration with Digital; own “buy” decisions for new platforms / technology​
  • Collaborate with Digital Product Owners / Managers on both product decisioning / strategy as well as day-to-day product delivery within the Agile Teams, incl. with Technical / Engineering team on hands-on solution development and management of external development vendors ​
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing Excellence to embed and evolve workflows, and to design and implement trainings where relevant​
  • Collaborate with relevant functional stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, PX) to enable integration of processes and requirements across relevant platforms / technology​
  • Collaborate with Agency and Creative  to optimize process and production​
  • Lead a global team of ~3-4 people (primarily based in US) and manage a budget ​
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of related field experience in:​
  • Being customer-obsessed, innovative, and results-oriented Business Lead​
  • Product Management, Product Owner, Product Analyst, or other related product roles ​
  • Leading and understand agile ways of working and product development lifecycle​
  • Optimizing marketing and creative capabilities with technology and process​
  • Product and Technology at an innovative Fortune 500, Health, Pharma or an Agency​
  • Navigating medical, legal and regulatory process​
  • Experience being a customer-obsessed, innovative, results-oriented Business Lead, Business Owner, Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Analyst, or other related product roles​
  • Understand agile ways of working and product development lifecycle​
  • Deep understanding and passion for platform systems, technologies, and APIs incl. hands-on experience with using / developing potential Marketing platforms and technologies (e.g., Adobe, Workfront, etc.)​
  • Experience working directly with customers to identify and prioritize business requirements​
  • Experience evaluating product decisions strategically and making prioritization trade-offs, leveraging large datasets to make data-driven product decisions, while collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams​
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrixed environment​
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to execute with speed and high quality​
  • Demonstrated business acumen, strong analytical skills and strategic mindset​
  • Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively across functions and geographies​
  • Role model for the PFE Values (Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy)​
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-business projects and initiatives, identifying risks and removing roadblocks to enable teams to achieve successful delivery​
  • Demonstrated analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills​

  • Demonstrate ability to thrive under pressure, to take accountability, and to meet deadlines​
  • Ability to work in agile operating model and culture ​
  • Experience in developing and leading a team while building a positive culture​
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university is helpful and preferred in one of the following or related fields: Business (MBA), Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Economics, etc.​
  • Prior experience as platforms and technology product manager / business lead in pharma or in a high-growth startup​
