Sr. DAM (Digital Asset Management) Project Manager/Consultant

Location: Remote (May include some travel to New York)

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Can conduct requirements gathering session with the client and guide them through what is important and what is not
  • Capture requirements and create documentation like BRD/FRD in order to convey what is needed to the configuration team and development team
  • Has some experience with Migration in order to understand the delta between what is missing and what is needed from a metadata model perspective from source system to new DAM system
  • Understands integrations and how to gather requirements for the back-and-forth communication of systems
  • Ability to conduct requirements for small portals that may be integrated to DAM
  • Understands how metadata models affect migration and ability to move assets and data completely to a new system
  • Understands how metadata model affects how integrations will work
  • Help to manage overall prioritizations between production incidents/problems, release management, upgrades, and new application implementation.
  • Serve as a point of escalation; ensuring the appropriate resources are engaged for timely action and proper traction.
  • Track progress of backlog with a focus on meeting delivery deadlines and SLA’s.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with internal and client stake holders and support team for presenting support status updates.
  • Build and manage the IT Application roadmap.
Required Qualifications:

  • Digital asset management domain expertise in a marketing organization.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Acquia DAM product stack
  • Excellent meeting, workshop, and conference facilitation skills, with proven knowledge of how to foster attendee participate and collaboration in small and large group.
  • Must have knowledge of existing DAM (digital asset management) tools
  • Facilitate a strong team environment, support and guide staff in goal setting, and skills development.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed individual with the ability to drive process improvement.
  • Strong capacity to build and work with teams and collaborate across functions and breakdown silos.
  • Strong business results orientation to understand business needs and deliver value and high-quality results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience performing cause and effect analysis.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Must be well-organized and able to work on and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
