Enterprise Knowledge is looking for a Solution Architect to support our growing Technology Solutions practice in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will design and implement the overall knowledge management architecture of client organizations. This includes the organization, categorization, storage, and distribution of content and data across various systems, applications, and platforms.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement knowledge management systems that align with the business goals and objectives of the organization. This includes working collaboratively with business consultants to identify business requirements, leading the identification of technical requirements, designing and validating solutions which meet those requirements for enterprise level applications.
  • Design solution architecture for the organization, including to ensure that content and data are managed in a way that is intuitively discoverable, reusable, and maintainable.
  • Architect complex solutions made up of integrations between multiple systems and platforms that are used to create, store, and distribute organizational knowledge including content management systems (CMS), digital asset management systems (DAM), taxonomy management systems (TMS), graph databases, and other related technologies.
  • Assist Project Manager in identifying and communicating risks, and helping to ensure the project optimizes knowledge management and business outcomes.
  • Lead strategic solution architecture to maximize business outcomes and ROI for client organizations.
  • Mentor and grow junior solution architects and software engineers to build overall team capacity.
Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of consulting experience in knowledge management and/or content management.
  • Expert-level skill in architecting systems which enable content reuse, efficiency, omnichannel delivery, and personalization.
  • Experience using visual diagramming tools such as Lucidspark
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating engaging focus groups, interviews, and user research sessions to understand complex business and technical requirements which impact solution architecture.
  • Expertise gathering and elaborating technical requirements related to knowledge management systems
  • Expertise establishing and championing solution architecture and integration strategies
  • Proven ability to facilitate enterprise-wide alignment on technical requirements
  • Interest in developing as a consultant and taking on additional responsibilities for winning and delivering work
Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent professional experience
  • Understanding of knowledge graphs and domain modeling
  • Understanding of the impacts of content models on search and information retrieval.
  • Understanding of security best practices and technologies and how they can be applied to provide authentication and authorization
  • Familiarity with the major cloud environments (AWS, Azure) in regards to the services they provide and deploying solutions to them
  • Experience architecting content systems leveraging FedRAMPed technologies and secure Federal environments
