We’re looking for an experienced, data-driven social media and reputation marketing specialist to scale the development and growth of Cornerstone Building Brands’ owned social channels and digital platforms. This role isn’t just sharing a message: you’ll be responsible for implementing our brands’ tone while engaging our global audience and moving the needle on business goals.
We are looking for a highly analytical thinker that understands social media analytics and how to utilize data to formulate campaign strategy while simultaneously creating content and messaging aligned with our brand’s promise.
As part of the Shelter Solutions Marketing team, you’ll work closely with partners across content, design, product marketing, demand generation, retail marketing and more to support our online, offline and in-person presence. The team’s work is highly visible, so candidates should have experience working with executives and senior leadership, excellent communication and collaboration skills, high levels of empathy, and be a project management pro.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
5+ years experience in social media marketing, journalism or public relations

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a long-term point of view and strategic approach for building brand reputations and improving online engagement for the Shelter Solutions brands
- Support the strategy and recommendations backed by data in collaboration with the above teams as part of a holistic Cornerstone Building Brands brand approach to how we engage with our community, influencers, and user base.
- Approach strategy with a “test & learn” mentality and appreciation for continuous improvement
- Create and source content for social-first campaigns (written, visual, audio), and engage with the customers through day-to-day platform management.
- Keep a steady stream of positive momentum across our social and online reputation channels
- Manage social publication pipeline by creating and amplifying social and online content that is aligned with our messaging themes and larger marketing efforts
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to online and offline feedback, reviews, and comments about the company, its products, and services.
- Develop and execute comprehensive reputation management strategies to enhance the organization's public perception and brand image.
- Proactively identify potential reputation risks and develop mitigation plans to address them effectively.
- Implement strategies to leverage positive content and reviews, amplifying the organization's reputation through social media, press releases, and other communication channels.
- Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets and journalists to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage.
- Analyze the outcome of public relations campaigns and report the findings to the leadership team.
- Manage our digital assets, such as audios, videos, images, text files, and marketing copy while also overseeing the use of digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, and protecting our digital assets using a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to efficiently schedule and execute marketing videos and photography. Manage production planning and on-site activities for multiple brands while overseeing video and photography assets to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtained.
- Manage brand memberships and sponsorships by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within industry organizations and providing timely payment of annual dues
- Recognize that your role, your methods, and your best practices will change all the time. Approach tying tactics to revenue goals as an exciting challenge and develop the data pipeline needed to measure impact. Constantly look for ways to test and optimize to achieve the best results
5+ years experience in social media marketing, journalism or public relations
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be proficient in English with exceptional US-based grammar and copywriting skills
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in project management and have some familiarity with and/or interest in photo and video production.
- Demonstrated ability to write crisp, high-quality, on-brand copy
- Ability to consider content from a holistic standpoint—systems, platforms, and channels—to create a unified user experience
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to identify win/wins for Cornerstone Building Brands and our customers
- Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality, working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Outcome-driven orientation with a bias for proactive solutioning and ability to see a vision through to execution
- Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective for a variety of customer segments and brands
- Building materials industry experience is a plus
