Overview

The Microsoft Brand Strategy team is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to help lead our Development and Innovation practice with a deep technical understanding of web and digital asset management platforms. This role will drive the evolution of Microsoft's Brand-owned internal platforms and tools, shaping the perception of the Microsoft brand among employees and agencies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the growth and development of Microsoft Brand Central, our industry-leading brand management platform. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of Microsoft Brand Central. Our team is dedicated to building brand love for Microsoft by embedding our brand foundation into all of Microsoft's consumer-facing content and communications. You will join a high-profile team that collaborates with multiple disciplines to define, develop, and enhance Microsoft Brand’s internal platforms and tools, enabling employees and agencies to present the best of Microsoft Brand to the world."

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Sites, Adobe Assets and Workfront. Additionally, experience with Digital Asset Management platforms is important, as these systems provide employees and stakeholders with access to Microsoft Brand’s digital asset library and guidance, helping teams work more efficiently and leverage digital content to achieve their strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product strategy and digital asset management (DAM) strategy, process improvement, and technology projects in collaboration with product owners ensuring product development aligns with brand strategy and goals.
  • Collaborate and co-Lead a cross-company team driving Asset Lifecyle Management process and efficiency.
  • Conduct research and testing with employees to identify opportunities for innovation and improvements within internal platforms and tools.
  • Define product goals, create, and maintain the product roadmap, and own the product backlog and requirements documentation.
  • Lead a virtual development and digital asset management team and manage the end-to-end product development process, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Prepare budgets, allocate resources, and delegate tasks to ensure product development is on track.
  • Ensure platform and tools adhere to and are up to date with Microsoft security, privacy, compliance, and accessibility requirements.  
  • Manage platform risks delivering highly available and efficient services and operations with measurable results.
  • Deliver results amidst ambiguous and changing business requirements by demonstrating a self-driven work ethic in our dynamic and high-pressure environment.
  • Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Assets, Adobe Sites, Adobe Fusion, Adobe Dynamic Media, Workfront and Azure.
  • 5+ years of experience as Technical Product Manager or similar role in product development with expertise in digital asset management platforms, solutions architecture, system engineering and integration.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility requirements and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
