The Enterprise CTO organization, a division of Optum Technology, is responsible for defining the enterprise technology strategy in alignment with the United Health Group (UHG) vision, mission, and strategy. This team innovates technology transformation across the UHG enterprise to improve healthcare.  The Enterprise CTO is uniquely positioned to help solve challenging problems that face our healthcare system today. By serving the whole of UHG, the ECTO is uniquely positioned to leverage technology to serve complex problems challenging many of our consumers and internal lines of business.  

The successful applicant will join a small, growing, and dynamic center of excellence (COE) team that drives self-service attitudes and capabilities for business and technology teams alike. In this role, you will be responsible for the evaluation and strategy of the intake of new requests for Adobe Experience Cloud products and other marketing technologies through collaboration within the COE team.

You will interact with more than 40 different business segments to drive the project forward including collaboration with technical and business teams on a daily basis. Using your project experiences as a starting point, you will actively participate in the COE’s mission to create and share enterprise-wide tools, processes, and best practices around the Adobe Experience Cloud software and other marketing technologies to ensure the success of organizational initiatives.

Working within a community of practice, you will also be an advocate to advance collaboration and consistent processes. This position will provide an opportunity to grow and expand your Adobe skills through Adobe on-line and instructor led courses.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and improve processes for marketing technology intake
  • Manage and update MarTech capability and software standards for UHG
  • Triage of tickets submitted from cross functional teams and stakeholders
  • Cross-team alignment and coordination across Adobe Experience Management suite of tools
  • Analyze and define requirements for large-scale projects that include integrations with other systems, migrations to Adobe Experience Cloud products, translation, Analytics, Management etc.
  • Work with development teams breaking down high-level features into user-stories and track them across multiple business units and organizations
  • Developing a strong knowledge of the features and functionality of the Adobe Experience Cloud products
  • Influence cross functional teams by building relationships with engineering teams and business stakeholders
  • Explain complex concepts that enables the team and all stakeholders to understand what they are doing and why
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and uncertain environment, and a focus on generating results
  • Enforce best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
  • Participate in user testing for product releases
  • Monitor metrics and reports for usage tracking

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in request management with multiple and competing deadlines and priorities across the enterprise
  • 3+ years of experience in driving transformational change and delivering measurable results
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading online capabilities, user experience, content, design or production in a large corporate or health care environments
  • Experience with implementation/migration to Adobe Experience Cloud products
  • Experience with Marketing Technology, Adobe Experience Cloud
  • Experience coordinating priorities and contributions of a network of non-technical Web content and project stakeholders from across a large diverse organization
  • Extensive practical experience and sound theoretical understanding of relevant professional disciplines, including capability management, web design, web authoring and publishing, information architecture, web content strategy, usability and accessibility, user experience design
  • Knowledge of Adobe BrandPortal and Workfront
  • Skilled at negotiating to compromise when stakeholders have competing interests and presenting and influencing leadership
  • Solid communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation communications
  • Self-starter with the ability to appropriately assess the need for independent decision-making verses leadership escalation
  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes
