You are a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our customer-facing online shopping experience initiatives. You'll leverage your in-depth knowledge of digital asset management and content management systems to design, build, and maintain high-performing solutions to support mobile-first customer experiences. While guiding other engineers, you'll also provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and ensure all solutions align with best practices and the existing architecture.

You’re also resourceful, collaborative, and a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer looking to make a significant impact. You stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends in engineering.

A Day in the Life:

  • You might be focusing/working on some of these responsible areas:
  • Leading and Mentoring Engineers: Providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers. Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
  • Collaborating: Collaborating with product owners, creative teams, and other engineers to create and improve end-to-end solutions.
  • Supporting: Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to the asset/content management systems and website. Also participating in rotational production support.
  • Building / Enhancing solutions: Designing, implementing, optimizing and operating DAM and CMS platform for a mobile-first customer-facing online shopping experience.
  • Quality: Writing clean, reusable, and maintainable code, while adhering to high-quality standards and best practices.
  • Review Code and Designs: Conducting code reviews and low-level design reviews to ensure quality and standards are met.
  • Architecture Design: Participating in technical design discussions and ensuring solutions are sound and align with architectural standards.

To Land This Role:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in an object-oriented or functional programming language.  
  • Experience building complex, large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of AEM architecture, assets, Sling APIs, Schedulers, OSGi services, and workflows.
  • Strong proficiency in languages and technologies (Java, JavaScript, Typescript, React, etc).
  • Strong understanding of DAM principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and Git source control.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Sonar and Code Quality Metrics.
  • Experience with cloud environments, microservices architectures, and containers.
