Overview:
The Asset Management (AM) team is responsible for the licensing stock assets and securing permissions as well as the curation of all client and internal assets that are stored in our DAM. This includes maintaining information about each asset’s license, usage rights, source, talent information and lifecycle. To help facilitate this, the AM team reviews all client tactics during the routing process to assess and clear assets for use. In addition, AM reviews and tags new assets created or purchased by the agency or inherited from the client or other agency partner.

This includes maintaining information about each asset’s license, usage rights, source, talent information and lifecycle. To help facilitate this, the AM team reviews all client tactics during the routing process to assess and clear assets for use. In addition, AM reviews and tags new assets created or purchased by the agency or inherited from the client or other agency partner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct the daily curation of the assets within our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
- Assist with ingestion of assets including the addition of metadata and managing asset archives
- Working knowledge of image usage rights and copyright
- Ensure that image usage rights are monitored and adhered to
- Intake agency Permissions and Stock Image licensing requests and associated tasks
- Create Art Estimate form and work with Finance to insure proper approvals have been secured.
- Order stock photo searches and negotiate stock usage fees when applicable
- Supply accurate purchase orders with all appropriate information for every purchase
- Generate asset reports and maintain records for the system
- Maintain accurate system procedures and policies
- Assist in the creation and communication of processes and procedures to acquire proper files and appropriate metadata throughout the different user groups
- Supports on-going DAM user interface optimization, driving enhancements through best practices & user feedback
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary for working with multiple departments across the agency
- Provide system training for various levels of users on how to upload, tag, view and download assets from the DAM system
- Respond to user questions and inquiries

- 2-3 years of experience
- Superb communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Understands legalities, production and processes
- Experience uploading assets to client portals
- Asset management experience in advertising a major plus
- Must have experience with Webportals, understand metadata and tagging, software solutions
- Prior experience working closely with creative departments from strategy or operational side a plus
