We’re launching a new Product Information Management (PIM) and seeking a self-driven, entrepreneurial sales professional to be our first hire in this space. This role is a unique opportunity to pioneer sales efforts, establish customer and partner relationships, and build momentum for a high-growth area of our business.
As the inaugural Sales Leader for PIM, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining how we position and sell PIM software implementations, product information syndication solutions, and integration services to B2B customers.

- Thrives in building from the ground up: You will craft the sales strategy, define processes, and establish the foundations of a successful PIM practice.
- Masters solution selling: Build trust, identify client challenges, and deliver tailored PIM solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Understands the PIM ecosystem: Be a trusted advisor in product data management, syndication/feed management workflows, and integration strategies.
- Is highly collaborative: Work closely with delivery teams, solution architects, and marketing to deliver exceptional value.
- Leads with vision and strategy: Inspire internal teams and clients with your leadership, confidence, and expertise.
- Executes with agility: Navigate and adapt to a dynamic, high-growth environment while maintaining focus on results.
Top 5 responsibilities
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for our PIM practice, including target industries, ideal customer profiles, and value propositions.
- Establish best practices for selling PIM solutions, syndication workflows, and integration services.
- Build and nurture relationships with key partners, including PIM platform providers, middleware vendors, and system integrators.
- Define KPIs for success and maintain accountability for meeting sales quotas.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities in key B2B industries such as manufacturing, distribution, and retail.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, and Product Managers.
- Present compelling solutions that address product data challenges, such as inconsistent information, slow time-to-market, and platform integrations.
- Guide clients through the PIM implementation journey, partnering with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing to craft campaigns, content, and collateral tailored to the PIM market.
- Support thought leadership initiatives by participating in webinars, white papers, and industry events.
- Work closely with internal technical teams to create robust integration workflows between PIM systems, ERP, CMS, DAM, and syndication platforms.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Track progress in CRM systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Continuously refine sales processes and strategies to meet evolving market demands.
Top 5 Qualifications
- A strong track record in B2B enterprise PIM software and/or services sales, with experience peripheral experience in eCommerce and CRM.
- Demonstrated ability to grow a practice, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Experience selling to senior executives, including CIOs, CTOs, CMOs, and Product Management leaders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of
- Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with a focus on execution.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Work remotely and the ability to travel up to 50%.
- Experience launching new sales initiatives or practices.
- Knowledge of B2B eCommerce trends, including product catalogs, configurators, and omnichannel commerce.
- Exposure to AI and the use of AI within the PIM industry.
