Position Overview:

As Program Manager, Digital Assets, you will be part of a Data and Marketing Technology solutions team. This position will be responsible for developing and governing the overall taxonomy, metadata, and classification of all digital assets at The Home Depot to effectively manage the lifecycle of information from creation to publication to archive. The role will help lead the implementation and data migration to a new enterprise-level platform and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the new system. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of digital asset management and content automation to effectively advise and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires collaborative leadership, strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills, while fostering positive, productive partnerships with internal stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan the implementation of a new Enterprise-level Digital Asset Management (DAM) system— breaking work into assignable pieces and working teams to execute
  • Manage diverse stakeholder groups to establish standard taxonomies and hierarchies for the classification of assets across business units and allow for content automation
  • Design and document metadata standards and semantic search models so that business stakeholders can easily search and retrieve the right content and ensure accurate usage rights
  • Establish an asset report structure to track asset usage, effectiveness, and maintenance needs of the system
  • Develop and manage roles and responsibilities for internal and external users
  • Write standard operating processes & procedures for managing data, records, and file sets
  • Maintain accurate procedures and records for the system and archive assets as necessary
  • Provide training to internal and external users of the DAM platform
  • Troubleshoot with IT and DAM vendor on any software bugs and lead any new software update needs
  • Review interfaces and workflows to identify possible usability issues; make recommendations and execute on opportunities for improvement
  • Manage ongoing day-to-day operations of the DAM system
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • A university degree in information sciences or information and records management is preferred. Equivalent experience, training and/or certifications will be considered
  • Experience working with Enterprise-level DAMs and integration within marketing technology tools
  • Knowledge and expertise in DAM taxonomy, cataloging and metadata
  • Understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem, such as CMS, CDP, CRM, DCO, and other marketing automation tools
  • Extremely organized with attention to detail
  • Strong written, grammatical, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems and highly motivated to deliver result
  • Previous digital project or product management experience would be an asset
