GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Product Specialist is responsible for managing various product communication programs to support product management operations. The Product Specialist will assist the product management department by planning, coordinating, and maintaining product communications for existing and new product lines. The Product Specialist will perform administrative tasks to support product management operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and manage product communication programs to ensure accurate and consistent content delivery across all channels to all internal and external audiences
- Product Literature management and maintenance – Plan, manage, and post updates to sales and technical literature to internal and external communication systems
- Bynder Digital Asset Management (DAM) – Plan, manage, coordinate and maintain all product assets on department systems
- ESKO Label Asset Management (LAM) – Plan, manage, coordinate all label assets on department systems
- Perform various administrative tasks to support Product Management department operations
- Manage a wide range of interactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of two (3) years marketing coordinator and/or project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Marketing or Business Administration from a four-year college or university
- Architectural coatings experience preferred

- Electronic mail software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft One Drive
- Database reporting software: SAP, BW, and Microsoft Excel
- Presentation software: Microsoft PowerPoint, SAP Dashboard, Skype for Business, and Go-to Meeting
- Data collection: Survey Monkey
- Project management software: Monday.com
- Digital asset management software: Bynder.com
- Label asset management software: ESKO Web Center
