At M&S, we are turbocharging product through our people! To support this transformation, we are looking for an outstanding Product Manager to develop the technical strategy and roadmap for our Digital Asset Management (DAM) & Product Data Platforms (PIM).
You'll holistically lead the product management process from research, product planning and build, through to launch and implementation of a diverse and highly sophisticated system, through prioritisation and formulation of strategic goals.
Through teamwork, you'll work as a wider product team on cross-product team dependencies, develop strong working relationships with relevant business owners across M&S, and partner with retail-specific technology expertise.

What you'll be doing
- Lead product development of M&S Digital Asset Management (DAM) & Product data platforms (PIM).
- Demonstrate a good level of understanding of both the software development process, and the full technology stack understanding how your product interacts with other product teams and all areas of the business.
- Work collaboratively across M&S, particularly with wider product team, technology delivery, and engineering.
- Accountable for the prioritisation of a backlog of work balancing collaborator requirements, optimising existing features, removing technical debt, and identifying quick wins vs pivotal initiatives.
- Contribute to each quarterly prioritisation process and refine the high-level product roadmap, communicating it to wider teams and partners on a periodic basis.
- Work with the Technical Programme Manager to inspect and adapt the teams working practices to suit the product lifecycle optimising value delivery.
- Lead the business readiness for your features, collaborating closely with all parties involved to clearly communicate what will be released and when.
- Assume shared accountability for the operational health of your product, reporting on agreed performance metrics.
- Working with Head of Product to craft the long-term Digital Content vision.
- Collaborating with Change Management to ensure Digital Asset Management solution includes people & process readiness to realise business outcomes
- Management of day-to-day questions on digital assets & product data, with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Experience successfully designing and delivering strategies and roadmaps, through to product launch and optimisation.
- Understanding of Digital Product and Asset Platform.
- Excellent technical capability.
- Proven successful delivery in an Agile software environment to deliver customer-led outcomes.
- Superb communication and experience dealing with business partners, both technical and non-technical.
- You are a connector, bringing people together you help make improvements even in areas you do not own.
