Product Information Specialist

The Product Information Specialist will work in a support role for the Catalog/Digital Marketing Manager and PIM Manager. The position will require the user to become proficient in the day-to-day management of product information, including the ability to update content and images associated with the company product mix.   

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in day-to-day management of the PIM/DAM including data fill, product updates, asset intake and processing (renaming/resizing), digital asset management (DAM), product information management (PIM) and other duties as required
• Data enrichment for existing product data, metadata and fill in gaps
• Manage product content resources, data quality, and governance
• Data entry to enrich existing DAM metadata and fill in gaps
• Clean up and maintenance of PIM code sets, saved sets and overall data values
• Assist in management of bug tracker, fixing or reassigning bugs as needed

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science, Supply Chain, Management Information Systems or Equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience working with product data, attributes & databases
• Ability to use critical thinking. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• General knowledge of product hierarchies, processes pertaining to product management, architecture, data quality

Skills / Knowledge Considered a Plus

• B2B e-Commerce / website experience
• Experience in the Distribution industry
