The Manager, Product Information & Master Data Management oversees Brother’s PIM (Product Information Management) system and MDM (Master Data Management) digital product vision, roadmap, features, benefits and overall customer experience in Brother’s current and future states. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the company's product strategy and vision, ensuring accurate and consistent product information across all channels. Utilizing technical and business expertise, the manager develops and leads current and future PIM and MDM projects that are critical to our digital transformation.

Product Information Management

  • Lead product data enrichment, syndication support and day-to day-management, including but not limited to account creation, ticket triage and business support.
  • Work to integrate PIM systems with other enterprise applications such as WebDam, CRM, ERP, and e-commerce platforms and applications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline current PIM process and actively participate in development of future opportunities and integrations.
  • Define enhancements and maintenance of PIM system based on feedback and Brother growth initiatives
  • Partner with business units on product launches to ensure all products have required product data and are all available on all feeds prior to launch.
  • Own user testing for all upgrades and enhancements including planning, test case creation and testing for launch. Work closely with IT business partner on all ticket management.
  • Write/manage/update PIM training documentation for both users and administrators. Develop templates and/or process for business units to provide consistent and accurate information for products.
  • Drive ad-hoc reporting and analysis as it relates to PIM and product data, including but not limited to creating a regular review/audit process to ensure information accuracy and consistency.
  • Act as primary point of contact for all users of PIM system, as well as a subject matter expert on all functions.
Product Feed and Application Management

  • Manage and optimize product data feed (currently Feedonomics) for products, including creating and managing catalogs, for applications and partners such as Google Shopping, Pinterest, etc.
  • Utilize web plug-ins, applications, and workflows to manage product listing, inventories, and orders for new innovative shopping features similar but not limited to Tik Tok Shop and Meta Commerce.
  • Ensure product data feed has accurate and up-to-date information, optimizing product visibility and search performance.
  • Perform quality control checks of product data for inaccuracies, errors, warnings, etc. Partner with IT business partner on issues and overall ticket management.
  • Lead order fulfillment initiatives, such as dropship and marketplace, from ideation to launch. Work closely with various internal teams such as supply chain, order management, business owners, project management and IT to on-board new marketplace/dropship opportunities, thus expanding Brother’s digital footprint.
  • Act as operational liaison between supply chain management (SCM), product management, IT, project management, vendors, and service providers.
  • Review and understand client requirements. Work closely with project management and IT to make sure all requirements are met, or enhancement requests are put in place.
  • Analyze dropship, marketplace, and marketing application sales data, monitor KPI’s and identify trends for sales growth and improved performance.
Product Strategy and Vision

  • Develop and communicate a compelling product strategy and vision required to meet the product information management (PIM) and MDM needs of the Brother business and deliver an optimal experience.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines features, enhancements and innovations for our PIM and MDM capabilities, including but not limited to syndication and order fulfillment enhancements (dropship, marketplace) and DAM (digital asset management) functions.
  • Lead end-to-end product development process from concept to launch, on-time and high-quality, including but not limited to gathering requirements, setting priorities, and coordinating with teams on delivery.
Syndication

  • Manage current PIM solution (InRiver) and ecommerce product data and content to syndicate content across retailer network and syndication platforms such as Syndigo.
  • Define workflows and organize content in scalable structure that meets needs of multiple retailers and their platforms.
  • Work closely with channel team on syndication requests and requirements. Validate template and file format by testing appropriate templates.
  • Establish and maintain product catalog taxonomy and hierarchies. Collaborate daily with cross-functional team owners to align product content and source systems. Partner closely with IT on any updates, changes, or errors within the system.
  • Work closely with IT and channel teams to stay current on existing and upcoming features and technology trends.
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Management or related field.
Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as PIM product manager or MDM products in a large global corporation.
  • Minimum 7 years in Technical Project Management.
Licenses & Certifications

  • Scrum Master or Agile Certification (Preferred)
Software/Technical Skills

  • Understanding of PIM/MDM Design and Integrations
  • Ticket tracking (JIRA, Workfront)
  • Internet Navigation & Knowledge
  • Adobe Acrobat (viewing & editing files)
Other Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

  • Excellent communication Skills (Verbal, Written, Interpersonal).
  • Ability to balance multiple projects & initiatives while staying organized, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically & creatively to solve business problems.
