Description
The PIM Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of the AD Member PIM (Product Information Management). They will partner with the Director, Product Content Management to define enhancements and maintenance of the PIM based on user feedback and content growth initiatives.

The PIM Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of the AD Member PIM (Product Information Management). They will partner with the Director, Product Content Management to define enhancements and maintenance of the PIM based on user feedback and content growth initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own day to day management of Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) activities such as account creation/removal, ticket triage and support
- Primary point of contact for questions from the AD team and members regarding PIM/DAM, clarifying features and user cases and answering questions; subject matter expert on PIM/DAM functions
- Suggest, validate and document enhancement requests; develop requirements for PIM enhancements
- Participate in scoping and project related calls with PIM vendor
- Configure and test PIM and DAM solutions to aid in faster ticket resolution and quicker speed to market with enhancements
- Own user acceptance testing (UAT)/regression testing process for upgrades and enhancements including planning, writing test cases and leading team of testers through to rollout
- Write/update PIM training documentation for both users and administrators
- Act as primary contact for technical PIM related tickets with PIM vendor
- Assist Director with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as it relates to PIM and DAM
- Assist content team with Digital Asset Management (DAM) validation corrections
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Detailed oriented and ability to identify anomalies
- Self-directed, forward thinking, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally as well as able to work well independently when assigned tasks or projects
- Ability to bridge communications between technical and business users both verbally and written
- Effectively communicate questions, concerns, or issues as it relates to product content in the PIM and DAM both internally and externally
- Demonstrated knowledge of Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
- Understanding of product management principles and practices
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field required (relevant experience may substitute for formal education)
- 4-6 years of professional experience in a related position required
- Experience in SQL programming required
- Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) preferred
