About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Photography & Digital Asset Coordinator is an integral part of the Creative Team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of photography assets. Duties to include setting up and organizing photography shoots, to delivering digital assets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organize pre-production on site, including but not limited to:
  • Book locations and talent, create shot lists, gather props and order products ahead of shoot day based on art direction.
  • Ensure shoot days flow seamlessly, projects on shot-list are available, and the site is cleared with props and equipment neatly put back to place.
  • Follow the set photography schedule: communicate dates and changes with the team and contractors.
  • Manage availability and organization of props, equipment, and photography consumables – keeping internal “warehouse catalogue” up to date and items are available.
  • Coordinate product photography – requests to photographer, timely asset delivery, and archiving.
  • Track digital assets through each step of delivery, following up with the stakeholders and triggering action when needed.
  • Maintain correct file naming conventions and folder structure of easy archiving.
  • Upload digital assets to the DAM (and or other platforms) so they are readily available and accessible.
  • Tag and apply metadata to digital assets on the DAM, to ensure searchability. This includes collecting and compiling metadata.
  • Train users on Digital Asset Management Application and communicate any new features or additions.
  • Maintain DAM guidelines and processes.
  • Convert digital assets to desired size and format as requested by retailers / clients.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications

  • Self-starter, capable of taking initiative to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Capacity to multi-task or shift from one task to another in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills, deadline oriented, and results driven.
  • Critical attention to details
  • Physically organized at work - having a physical and digital workspace that is orderly and well-maintained.
  • Interpersonal competence including reliability, consistency, flexibility, and adaptability in day-to-day interactions.
  • Professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Good planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Capacity to learn new applications.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (specifically Photoshop)
  • 2+ years coordinator experience.
  • Experience in digital asset management is a plus.
