Job Description
As the Photo Art Director, the primary function of this position is to deliver compelling, brand-elevated statements through photography, from concepts thru execution. The Photo Art Director is also responsible for providing on-set art direction on composition, lighting, and propping for both Marketing and eCommerce photography. Collaborate and lead the on-set team to ensure the business and creative goals of each shoot are met while maintaining exceptional brand and visual standards. Collaborate with the Digital Tech and Project Management to ensure asset management needs are met. Your contributions will create and maintain consistent, high-level visuals, standards, and specifications in our Marketing Department at CITY Furniture.

What You’ll Do…
- On Set Art Direction – Ensuring all image assets meet standards and are on brand. Providing feedback and approving all images captured daily for eCom and brand initiatives.
- Pre-Production Planning - Build out shot lists for photographers. Pull together mood boards/inspiration to guide the on-set team based on creative direction and strategy provided by Associate Creative Director. Works with other creative team members, across multiple mediums, in the conceptualization process, beginning with the implementation stage and following through the delivery of the final product.
- Post-Production Direction - Partners with Digital Tech to ensure image handoffs are meeting deadlines. Provides feedback to the retouch team and approves final images before final upload to the DAM. Audits all image usage and ensures quality standards are being met. Provides feedback and direction to creative team members when necessary.
- Management - supervises, supports, and develops members of the creative photo studio team. This includes coaching and providing Individual Development Plans.

Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
- 5 or more years of experience in a related field.
- In House Photo Studio experience required
- In-person – Corporate offices/photo studio
- Monday-Friday
- 8:30am-5:30pm
- Additional weekday hours during location shoots, approximately 4 times per year
- No Lifting or physical requirements
- Travel in/around South Florida/Tampa area location shoots approximately 4 times per year
