JOB SUMMARY

This position is half-time and reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications at The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity. It includes planning, execution and analysis of various videography, photography, podcast and emerging media projects for use in digital and print content marketing efforts of the seminary. These efforts serve the seminary’s mission in three ways: supporting institutional advancement, aiding recruiting efforts and enhancing internal communications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Captures, edits and evaluates digital storytelling and thought leadership video, podcast and emerging media content for distribution on platforms including but not limited to YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify for Podcasters and Apple Podcasts.
  • Captures, edits and manages all digital photography on behalf of The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity. Work includes event, action, portrait, still life and lifestyle photography.
  • Contributes to the creation and management of a seminary-wide digital asset management (DAM) platform for easy storage and use of photography and video files.
  • Collaborates with Director of Marketing and Communications and Marketing and Communications Specialist to plan, execute and evaluate multimedia projects and assignments.
  • Responsibly manages a flexible schedule that will change week-to-week based on assignments, with some evenings and weekends required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in filmmaking, videography, photography, journalism, communications or a related field
  • 2-3 years of professional experience
