The Metadata Services Librarian is responsible for and oversees the development, assessment, and implementation of best practices and procedures related to metadata creation, classification, analysis, enrichment, and transformation with an emphasis on ensuring that the Library’s print and digital resources are discoverable and accessible.
This position plays a key role in supporting several strategic areas related to both print and digital resource description and discovery that support the teaching and research needs of the Law School faculty and students.
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or related.
- One year of experience in cataloging, metadata, or related technical services activities, including knowledge of related tools and standards such as RDA, LCSH, and MARC.
- One year of experience working with an integrated library system (ILS).
