Overview
The NFL Media Group is seeking a Media Asset Manager to join the Technical Operations team. This position is responsible for ensuring the daily content operations are running smoothly by ensuring the integrity and metadata accuracy of ingested content and supporting new and existing business with the system. The Media Asset Manager will be expected to maintain an operational level knowledge of the Video Content Management System and workflows in order to serve NFL Media’s business roadmap.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work well under tight deadlines, with the capacity to work across multiple teams to help users, document process, and represent team feedback for software and workflow improvements.

This position is responsible for ensuring the daily content operations are running smoothly by ensuring the integrity and metadata accuracy of ingested content and supporting new and existing business with the system. The Media Asset Manager will be expected to maintain an operational level knowledge of the Video Content Management System and workflows in order to serve NFL Media’s business roadmap.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for content metadata integrity
- Develop content validation and metadata processes
- Identify and resolve metadata issues with content creators
- Partner with workflow Product Manger to design and implement workflows for efficient media processing
- Support the Video Workflow Product Owner in the integration of new Business Units
- Maintain and expand robust metadata taxonomy
- Manage daily content ingest operations
- Works with syndication partners to maintain content workflows
- Produce and keep current video workflow documentation
- Proactively monitor system health; Reporting and tracking system bugs with vendors
- Maintain operational level knowledge of Media and Digital Asset Management technology
- 5+ years of experience working with digital asset and video content management systems
- Experience and clear understanding of metadata schemas and taxonomy development
- Proficient in digital video and audio encoding formats
- Effective interpersonal skills; good judgment and ability to interact with different levels of management and teams
- Working knowledge of video, image editing platforms, and closed captioning software
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience working across multiple teams
- Advanced knowledge of football terminology
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Passionate about the National Football League
- Passionate about troubleshooting issues, exploring and experimenting new methods
- Self-driven; Self-starter with a habit for taking initiative
- Full-time NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work during game windows during the season (nights, weekends and holidays).
